Nikisha Dotson Smith is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. She is the youngest daughter of the Dr. L. R. Dotson and Sis. Diann Dotson. Nikisha and her only sister, Gospel Artist, the late Stephanie Dotson accepted Christ at their family’s home church First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church on the Cooper Road (now known as the MLK area, where she was reared. Nikisha united in holy matrimony on December 29, 1995 to Alejandro R. Smith. The Lord has blessed their union with two lovely sons Nicholas and Caleb.God has planted Sis. Smith & family at the Light Hill Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, where her husband is the pastor.

Since collaborating in ministry with her husband, the Lord has birthed and pulled many things out of her spirit. She has served as Praise and Worship Leader, Choir Director, Women’s Ministry Leader, Women’s Conference Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and much, much more. Nikisha is called of God and a licensed evangelist.
